Tiger Translate 2010
Tiger Translate, now in its fifth year, is Tiger Beer’s global initiative to connect with young adults by showcasing a vibrant vision of contemporary Asia through the eyes of its brightest creative talents. Tiger Translate is Tiger's global lifestyle platform which provides emerging artists from the East and West with the unique opportunity to engage in creative exchanges and collaborations with international artists, and to showcase their work on the world stage.
In 2010 Tiger Beer is calling all young artists to submit artworks around the theme ‘Balance’
“Striking a balance between the various elements that occupy our lives
Lies at the heart of our value systems
In the rapidly changing world we live in, we are all too aware about how tipping the balance
Can create chaos and confusion.
The west has been looking to the east for inspiration on how to lead a balance lifestyle
As an Asian brand with its feet firmly in the west, Tiger is proud to be in a position to facilitate a dialogue between artists from east and west-enabling the secrets to balance in modern life, to cross the oceans”
Submissions will be accepted in May and June 2010. Selections will be made in the beginning of July 2010, with the chosen artworks to be showcased at an exclusive event in July 2010.
